Starbucks® Cards are available in all participating Starbucks® Coffee Houses in Germany (with the exception of franchise-operated stores). The card can only be obtained in the store, not online, unless you register with Starbucks® Rewards in the Starbucks® app (where you can have a digital card created).
You can use your Starbucks® Card in all participating Starbucks® Coffee Houses in Germany (with the exception of franchise-operated stores).
You can also filter for “Redeem Rewards” in the Coffee House Locator, which will only show you the coffee houses that accept the Starbucks® Card.
Due to banking regulations, the Starbucks® Card may only be used in coffee houses operated by AmRest Coffee Deutschland Sp. z o.o. & Co. KG.
The following coffee houses are licensed stores in which the use of the Starbucks® Card is NOT possible for legal reasons:

Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1 Hall B,
Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1 Hall C,
Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2 Airside,

Hamburg Central Station Südsteg and West,
Hamburg Airport,
Hamburg Dammtor train station,
Stuttgart Central Station,
Bremen main station,
Mainz main station
as well as at the highway service stations Fernthal, Brohltal West, Ellwanger Berge, Holledau, Bruchsal, Holmmoor, Feuchtwangen and Medenbach.
You can reload your Starbucks® Card in all participating Starbucks® stores at the cash register or via the Starbucks® app. Please note that your Starbucks® Card must be linked to your online Starbucks® Rewards account in order to reload online.
Enter your 16-digit card number and 8-digit PIN number in your Starbucks® account online or in the Starbucks® app to link the card to your account. If you are creating a new account, you can enter the card information directly during registration.
Yes, every Starbucks® Card can be reloaded. You can reload your Starbucks® Card at any time in your app or directly in the store.
No, there are no fees.
The Starbucks® Card is generally to be treated as a gift card and in the same way as cash. If you lose it or it is stolen, please contact the police directly to report it.
If your Card is registered, your Starbucks® Rewards membership and remaining balance will be protected from the moment you notify us of the loss. Please send us an e-mail to [email protected] stating your registered e-mail address and, if possible, your card number and postal address to report the loss/theft. As soon as you notify us of the loss or theft of your Card, we will freeze your remaining credit at the time of reporting, transfer it to a new Starbucks® Card and send you the replacement Card immediately by post - straightforward and free of charge.
